Packard Lofts Renovation

Project Description

In the early 20th Century, Packard cars were a symbol of quality and perfection on the road. This former Packard dealership in downtown Newark has been renovated to offer luxury apartments in an up-and-coming neighborhood. The historic atmosphere of this graceful, 1920s Art Deco building has been stylishly renovated to include state-of-the-art amenities, energy-efficient features, and is near convenient transportation. (2) separate buildings were combined to provide 28 rental units. A common elevator and stairs join the disparate floors between the two buildings. Interior details like exposed wood beam trusses were renovated and left exposed to provide spacious open floor plans. Existing ground floor spaces were renovated for new retail and office spaces.
